Magnesium
Magnesium Citrate, 314 mg per serving
Magnesium is one of the most studied minerals in nutrition, and it is the largest mineral in our formula at 70% of the Daily Value. It supports restful sleep and relaxation.* We use the citrate form, dissolved in water rather than pressed into a capsule, so it goes into solution before you drink it.
Inositol
1,000 mg per serving
By weight, inositol is the largest single ingredient in Rest First. It is a nutrient the body uses in cell signaling.* It also carries a soft, clean sweetness, which is part of how the drink tastes like something you want rather than something you have to get through.
GABA

Gamma-aminobutyric acid is the body's calming neurotransmitter.* Your body makes it on its own. We include it at a dose you can read on the panel, not hidden inside a blend.
5-HTP

5-HTP is a serotonin precursor,* sourced from the seed of a West African plant. It is the ingredient that makes the warnings on our label longer than most, and we would rather be the brand that explains that than the one that buries it. Read them before your first serving.

Why we left melatonin out
Melatonin is a hormone, not a nutrient. It is the most common shortcut in the sleep aisle, and it is also the reason a lot of people say they wake up foggy. Rest First takes the other road: it leaves the hormone out and works with the systems your body already runs at night.*
Why it fizzes
The effervescence is not decoration. An acid and a base react in water, the powder goes into solution, and what you drink is already dissolved. It also turns a supplement into a ritual, which is the part people actually keep doing.
